Bolea, 50 years of Experience in the Tradition of Craftsmanship

Founded in 1954, Bolea is manufacturing sofas and armchairs, specialized in leather finishings such as buttoned Chesterfield, wing chairs etc.. Progressively, the company won tremendous recognition and prestige all over Spain, thanks to its wide range of upholstery and cabinet-making . This vast range includes products for dining rooms, bedrooms, occasional and office furniture.
The Bolea family has followed their founder´s philosophy throughout the years. This philosophy is to manufacture high quality furniture in the tradition of craftsmanship while introducing the newest technologies.
The details of each piece of furniture made by Bolea is insured by the highest quality materials, the attention paid to each step of the manufacturing process and the professionals all over the world.

This process is more a series of craft operations that a real industrial production. In each step, the worker's hand-made knowledge is captured. This respect of traditional production is a proof quality for enhancing the aesthetics, comfort and longevity of each product.

• We have our own design team developing prototypes, adapting and reproducing classical pieces and upon request, creating custom design for special contract project that have been requested by customers around the world.
  
  
• All of our wood is dried in open air. Each plank is then carefully studied for usage depending on the size and defects. After this process, we make a decision as to which plank is adequate to which part of the furniture
  
  
• Frames details are hand-made. Carvings are sculpted in the rough wood, then dyed and finished by hand.
  
  
• Filling of the cushions: we use various materials, like vegetable horsehair, duck feather and polyurethane foam of different densities, all carefully selected for their quality and longevity.
  
  
• Suspensions: our combination of steel biconnical springs with elastic belts are particularly resistant and indeformable.
  
  
• Marquetry: we have our inlays section, which select the most beautiful and noble woods (walnut, cherry wood, rose wood, ebony, etc.) for our cabinet-making range, elaborating wood inlays by using our traditional manufacturing process.
